why in home?
It's a good question - why is in home a better option for me than travelling to a studio? Well, in my opinion, there are several reasons.
Your home is your space. The space you bring your baby home to for the first time. Whether it be rented, unfinished, it's raw and real. It's their first home. The beginning of their childhood journey.
Capturing moments in that home brings comfort, nostalgia, authenticity. It helps you relax, too. Knowing where the nappies are, and being able to make bottles of milk up, or use your breastfeeding pillow on *your* comfy bed, with your water bottle at reach, changing your outfit if you get the burp of all burps - or from the other end!
In addition to this ease, it's magic when I am invited back the following year, to capture growing families or simply celebrate a year in the life of your newborn. In the same space, an artful record for their lives, a tradition to pass on.
I feel so lucky to be invited into homes across Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London. To step into your newborn bubble feels nostalgic to me, I get to relive my newborn bubble, time and time again. It's the most wonderful feeling and a real privilege to capture it for you.

What's an in home session like?
A relaxed two - two and a half hours together. We chat, bubs can settle, feed, change, you name it, we can do it. It's a space to capture you in the right now, the moment you'll blink and it'll be over, the days where they all blur into one.
Not your first? Brilliant. It just means that your biggest can be themselves while your littlest is holding the spotlight. They can play, eat, watch TV. They can be as involved as they want to be, all in the comfort of their safe space.
